A Little Bit About Me...
Shasta was rescued along with two other female donkeys just before they were about to be sent across the border for slaughter. Upon arrival, we discovered their severely neglected feet, so their first stop was the hospital. After a full workup, including bloodwork, chest ultrasounds, and hoof x-rays, they’re all now home and safe. We’re excited to give them the care and love they truly deserve!
