Intensive Recovery Barn
INDOOR CARE WITH 24/7 MONITORING
For initial intensive care days for our most vulnerable animals — starvation cases, pneumonia, and more — this temperature-controlled facility with four new medical stalls will make a life-changing difference. With the closest hospital 30 minutes away, it allows faster rehydration with IV bags, on-site emergency vet procedures in any weather, and 24/7 monitoring through team overnight quarters, ensuring immediate care when every moment counts.

FACILITIES TO SUPPORT ANIMAL WELFARE INITIATIVES
Visitors come to the FHF Sanctuary from across Texas and beyond — from spa goers and business owners to animal welfare officials and special needs groups — all united by a love for animals. Guests volunteer, tour, dine to donate, and join programs like art therapy and sponsored skincare classes. We currently use donated space at FHF Skincare headquarters, but a dedicated education center with bathrooms and a commercial kitchen would let us expand programs and welcome many more guests.
